If your dogs back paws feel more like an extension of the entire heel/leg then you may have the same issue were having. I believe if your dog has the normal dog paws that match the front paws where the paw is obviously shaped like a foot then these will work just fine without the problems were having. Were going to buy longer shoe strings for them to possibly wrap them thru the back shoe loop. They fall off for simply walking around and wont stay on no matter how many attempts weve made to alter how we put them on her. However the backs will still not stay on.
So we waited for size 8 to come in and they fit her much better. The front ones fit for the most part but the back shoes kept falling off. At the time they were out of stock and we got the size 7.
